During the Super Bowl 50 on February 7, 2016, Esurance gave away more than $1 million with the Pass It On Sweepstakes.
For a chance to win, football fans only had to retweet any of the promotional tweets including the hashtag #EsuranceSweepstakes during each quarter of the game.
Sixteen lucky Esurance Pass It On Sweepstakes Winners won $50,000 each during the game. But they were not done. After the game, they invited entrants to keep passing on their tweets for a chance to win the last $250,000.
